Some months ago I went to Rennes (France) for working. I had been there a couple of times before, but I had never had time for hanging around a bit, and I enjoyed SO MUCH! I went to des Lices market on Saturday morning which is very impressive; to Parc du Thabor on Sunday morning, and for a walk around the city downtown on Monday evening. The rest of the time, when I wasn't at work, I was eating like...a lot.
I wish I could return this year again and have some quality time around the city. I was with some local colleagues who introduced me to very sweet spots of the city. I had some Breton beer, which I found very tasty and nice, we ate scallops (quite a lot) and oysters. I think, at the end, I returned without being able to button my jeans!

And now, I am planning my new trip, but this time for pleasure, not for business!
What about you? Any exciting trip on the horizon?

Have a lovely week!!

Pineapple Embroidery

pineapple embroidery

Hi everyone!

What relaxes you? For me, is embroidering. Actually, I enjoy doing almost every craft, sewing, knitting and learning to wave, and with less fortune, try to make something with crochet. The other day I bought a lot of hoops and I couldn’t wait to make something nice. I chose this pineapple because, well, pineapples are suuuper cute! I honestly can say I have a crush on pineapples.

As I am on vacations (Yaaaaaayyyy!), I now can enjoy a lot of free time to do some crafts and DIY over the house, as well as travel a little around (next week I’ll be in Barcelona).

So, what do you need?

Piece of fabric (mine was cotton)
Needle with a sharp point
Cotton floss in black

As you can see, first I drew the pineapple by pencil. I made the outline little by little with the black floss using the called ‘back stitch’ which, I can tell, is the fastest.
So, for real, EVERYONE can make this! Super easy!

And you? What do you do to relax?

Build an Epic Blanket Fort

Tuesday, April 12, 2016

Let’s face it: Being an adult sucks. Do you remember those times when you hadn’t responsibilities, a boss or a broken heart, and the only think you had to be worry about was what kind of toy you would choose that evening? I really want to go back!

When I was a kid, my brother and I used to build blanket forts in my bedroom, have a sandwich and play some board games. And I miss it so much!

This is something everybody should do once in a while, to disconnect from our adulthood and the real world and to connect again with our inner child.

So, grab some candies, choose a good movie and get into the fort!
